Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
    2. Fig 1: Ignition Lock Cylinder & Release Pin

  2. Remove the ignition lock cylinder.
    • Insert the ignition key and turn to the RUN position.
    • Using a 1/8-inch drift, press the ignition switch lock cylinder release pin through the access hole while pulling out the ignition switch lock cylinder.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Verify ignition lock cylinder operation.
