Pinpoint Test C: All The Locks Operate From One Switch Only

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adaptor(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adaptor(s) may damage the connector.
  1. C1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE INOPERATIVE DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Inoperative Door Lock Control Switch
    • Fig 1: Checking Circuit For Voltage

    • Measure the voltage between the inoperative door lock control switch C505-4 (driver), or C605-4 (passenger), circuit 116 (RD/BK), harness side and ground.
    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    1. YES  : INSTALL a new door lock control switch. REFER to Door Lock Control Switch . TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. NO  : REPAIR the circuit in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
