Pinpoint Test C: No Power In Run

- C1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE IGNITION SWITCH
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: Ignition Switch C250.
- Measure the voltage between the ignition switch circuits and ground, as follows:IGNITION SWITCH CIRCUITS
Ignition Switch C250 Circuit C250-7 37 (YE) C250-12 37 (YE) C250-2 325 (DB/OG) C250-9 1050 (LG/PK) - Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : GO to C2.
- No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
- C2 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH
- Carry out the Ignition Switch Component Test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING - F250-F550 SUPER DUTY PICKUP .
- Does the ignition switch test OK?
- Yes : GO to C3.
- No : INSTALL a new ignition switch. REFER to IGNITION SWITCH . TEST the system for normal operation.
- C3 CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX (CJB)
- Connect: Ignition Switch C250.
- Disconnect: CJB C270c.
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between the CJB C270c, harness side and ground as follows:CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX C270C CIRCUITS
CJB C270c Circuit Pin 4 16 (RD/LG) Pin 5 687 (GY/YE) Pin 6 964 (DB/LG) Pin 1 1040 (RD/BK) - Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : REPAIR or INSTALL a new CJB. TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
