Crankshaft Front Seal: Removal

Remove the crankshaft vibration damper. For additional information, refer to CRANKSHAFT PULLEY .
Punch two holes in the seal.

Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft seal.

NOTE: Production engines will not have a wear sleeve.

If equipped, remove the crankshaft seal wear sleeve.
