Pinpoint Test Aa: The Trailer Lamps Are Inoperative - Trailer Reversing Lamps

- AA1 CHECK CIRCUIT 963 (BK/LG) FOR VOLTAGE
- Disconnect: Trailer Tow C4099 (7-Pin).
- Apply the parking brake.
- Key in ON position.
- Place the transmission in REVERSE.
- Measure the voltage between the trailer tow C4099-7, circuit 963 (BK/LG), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes : The vehicle is operating correctly. SEND the trailer to an authorized camper/trailer repair facility.
No : VERIFY the BJB fuse 20 (10A) is OK. If OK, GO to AA2.
- AA2 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE BJB FUSE 20 (10A)
- Measure the voltage between the BJB fuse 20 (10A), circuit 140 (BK/PK), input side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes : REPAIR circuit 140 (BK/PK). TEST the system for normal operation.
No : REPAIR circuit 963 (BK/LG). TEST the system for normal operation.
