Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the Motor Electronics Cooling System (MECS) expansion tank nut and bolt, position the tank aside.
    • To install, tighten the nut and bolt to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

  2. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.
  3. Release the brake booster vacuum sensor retainer ring and remove the vacuum sensor.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  5. Following the scan tool instructions, carry out the Multi-Calibration Routine.
