Removal And Installation

LH and RH seat track rails
- Insert an appropriate tool into the slot and release the detachable safety belt anchor from the seat.
- Remove the seat.
- Pull the seat latch release handle, slide the seat to the right and disengage from the seat latch striker.
- Position the seat forward on the seat track.
- Remove the 4 nuts and seat pedestal.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- For installation, make sure the LH and RH seat track rails are aligned evenly.
- Detach the linkage from the seat track release lever.
- Slide back the retainer spring and un-hook the linkage.
- Remove the 3 screws and LH cushion side shield.
- Remove the 2 lower recliner bolts.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 seat track-to-cushion frame bolts and LH seat track rail.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Remove the 3 screws and RH cushion side shield.
- Remove the backrest pivot bolt.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 seat track-to-cushion frame bolts and RH seat track rail.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
