- The door ajar indicator is inoperative (chime is operative)/does not operate correctly

- CHECK the operation of the interior lamps.

to continue diagnosis.

- The safety belt warning indicator is inoperative (chime is operative)/does not operate correctly

- CHECK the operation of the safety belt warning chime.
- If the chime is operative, INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . TEST the system for normal operation.
- If the chime is inoperative, REFER to WARNING DEVICES
to continue diagnosis of the safety belt warning chime.
