Removal and Installation
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING
.
- Remove the parking brake control. For additional information, refer to PARKING BRAKE CONTROL .
- Disconnect the front parking brake cable from the equalizer bracket by compressing the cable conduit locking tabs.

- Release the front parking brake cable pass-through grommet from the vehicle underbody.
- Remove the front parking brake cable by pulling the front parking brake cable through the equalizer bracket.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
