Removal & Installation
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove air cleaner assembly.
- Remove the brake master cylinder mounting nuts and master cylinder. Position aside.
- Disconnect the booster vacuum hose.
- Disconnect the power distribution box auxiliary relay and set aside.
- Remove instrument panel lower cover.
- Remove the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch and the brake booster push rod from the brake pedal pin.
- Remove the power brake booster nuts. Remove the power brake booster.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
