Roof Opening Panel Alignment - Horizontal Adjustment

NOTE: The roof opening panel motor must be initialized when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof opening panel, including: whenever the roof opening panel motor has been removed from the roof opening panel assembly, a new roof opening panel motor has been installed, or when a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed. Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION .
  1. Loosen the roof opening panel bolts on the driver side.

    2. CAUTION: Use care to avoid scratching the roof or damaging the roof opening panel seal.
  2. Insert a plastic shim (or similar tool) with a thickness of approximately 3 mm between the rear of the roof opening panel seal and the roof opening panel.
  3. Gently move the roof opening panel forward.
  4. Tighten the roof opening panel bolts.

  5. Repeat for the passenger side.
  6. Reinitialize the roof opening panel motor. Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION .
