Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Raise the and support vehicle. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the nuts.

Remove the right front wheel and tire. Refer to WHEELS & TIRES .
Remove the right front inner fender well.
Remove the nuts, the exhaust manifold and the gasket. Discard the gasket.

Clean and inspect the exhaust manifold. Refer to ENGINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION .
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
