Removal and Installation

Drain the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
Remove the three bolts and position the degas bottle out of the way.

Squeeze the clamp, pull the hose off and position the upper radiator hose out of the way.

CAUTION: The large clutch assembly nut has a right-hand thread and must be rotated counterclockwise to remove it.

Using the special tool, remove the fan and fan clutch from the coolant pump pulley.
Carefully position the fan and the fan clutch into the shroud.

Remove the bolts, the shroud, fan and clutch.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
