Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) vacuum regulator solenoid (if equipped).
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Disconnect the vacuum lines.
    3. Remove the bolts (nuts if applicable).

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
