Removal and Installation
- Remove the seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST - EXCURSION, SECOND ROW .
- Remove the seat handle clip and handle.

- Unclip the J-clips and position upholstery to gain access to the seat backrest linkage rod.

- Remove the spring pin and screw.

- Slide the linkage toward the inboard side of the seat.

- Slide the linkage toward the outboard side of the seat and remove.

- Unclip the seat backrest latch cable.

- Remove the bolts.

- If removing the seat backrest latch cable, remove the seat backrest cable tensioner clip.

- Remove the cable tensioner.
- Unclip the locking tabs.
- Remove the spring tensioner.

- Remove the cable from four clips (two shown).

- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
