Rear Brake Shoes: Installation

Clean backing plate. Using high temperature grease, lubricate brake shoe contact points. Position brake shoes onto backing plate, and install hold-down springs. Install anti-rattle spring and return springs.
Adjust brake shoes. See REAR BRAKE SHOES under ADJUSTMENTS. Install brake drums and brake drum screws. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Check for proper brake operation.
