Removal & Installation (M/T)

Remove cup holder. Remove the floor console front retaining screw on each side.
Disconnect the gearshift lever boot from the floor console.
On vehicles with traction control, disconnect the manual transaxle gearshift lever trim panel retaining clips from the floor console. See Fig 1.
Remove the manual transaxle selector lever trim panel. Disconnect the traction control electrical connector. See Fig 2.
On vehicles with center armrest, detach the rear of the floor console from the floor panel bracket. See Fig 3.
Remove the armrest trim panel.
Remove the retaining screws. See Fig 4. Remove the armrest.
On vehicles without center armrest, remove the insert from the rear of the floor console.
Remove the floor console rear retaining nuts. See Fig 5.
On all vehicles, fully raise the parking brake lever and detach the boot.
Remove the floor console.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
