Removal & Installation (A/T)

  1. Move transaxle selector to "N" position.
  2. Remove cup holder. Remove floor console front retaining screw under cup holder.
  3. On vehicles with traction control, detach the automatic transaxle selector lever trim panel retaining clips from the floor console. See Figure.
  4. Remove selector lever trim panel. Disconnect traction control electrical connector from bottom of trim panel. See Figure.
  5. On vehicles with center armrest, detach rear of the floor console from floor panel bracket.
  6. Remove armrest trim panel. Remove retaining screws. See Figure. Remove armrest.
  7. On vehicles without center armrest, remove the insert from the rear of the floor console. Remove floor console rear retaining nuts. See Figure.
  8. On all vehicles, fully raise parking brake lever and detach the boot.
  9. Remove floor console.
  10. Move transaxle selector lever to "P" position.
  11. To install, reverse removal procedure.
