Diagnostic Aids

Perform this test when directed by QUICK TEST or by another system test. This test is only intended to diagnose the following components and circuits:

The speed control function is integrated in PCM. Speed control command switches are momentary switches which are located on face of steering wheel. They consist of one ON-OFF toggle switch and one 3-position SET/ACCEL, COAST and RESUME switch. These switches when depressed, select one of several resistance values to PCM to select speed control functions.
