Diagnostic Aids
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE:
After each service or repair procedure has been completed, reconnect all components. Clear DTCs and repeat QUICK TEST procedures to ensure all electronic engine control systems are working properly and DTCs are no longer present.
Perform this test when directed by QUICK TEST. If PCM detects ICP sensor out of range high or low, Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) or SERVICE ENGINE SOON light (F650-750) will be illuminated and PCM will go to open loop control of injection control pressure (operate from an estimated injection control pressure.) This test is intended to diagnose the following components and circuits:
- Injection Control Pressure (ICP) Sensor
- Wiring Harness Circuits; (ICP, SIG RTN & VREF)
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
