Throttle Body - Spacer: Removal

  1. Remove the Throttle Body (TB). For additional information, refer to THROTTLE BODY  in this service information.
  2. Disconnect the PCV tube quick connect coupling from the TB  spacer. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - GASOLINE AND DIESEL .
  3. Disconnect the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge valve vacuum tube quick connect coupling from the TB  spacer. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - GASOLINE AND DIESEL .
  4. Remove the 2 screws and the PCV heated element.
  5. Remove the 2 upper TB  spacer bolts.
  6. Remove the 4 lower TB  spacer bolts, the TB  and discard the TB  spacer gasket.
