Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission fluid pan, gasket and filter. For additional information, refer to FLUID PAN, GASKET AND FILTER  in this service information.
  2. Disconnect the Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor.

  3. Press the tab, rotate the TFT  sensor counterclockwise and pull out.

  4. Inspect the O-ring seal. If the O-ring seal is damaged, install a new TFT  sensor.
