Fuel Pump Module - Plastic Fuel Tank (Gasoline): Installation

NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seal prior to installation.

Install a new FP module O-ring seal.

NOTE: The Fuel Pump (FP) module must be handled carefully to avoid damage to the float arm.

Install the FP module into the fuel tank and rotate clockwise until the alignment arrows on the FP module and fuel tank meet.
Using the Lock Ring Wrench, install the new FP module lock ring.
- Make sure the alignment arrows on the FP module and the fuel tank meet before tightening the FP module lock ring.

Install the fuel tank. For additional information, refer to FUEL TANK - MIDSHIP .
