Removal and Installation

- Drain the fuel and turbocharger cooling system. For additional information, refer to FUEL AND TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Remove the LH fender splash shield. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
- Disconnect the radiator-to-coolant pump hose at the coolant pump.
- Disconnect the coolant pump-to-fuel cooler hose at the coolant pump.
- Remove the 2 bolts and detach the coolant pump from the cooling module.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
- Disconnect the coolant pump electrical connector and remove the coolant pump.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the fuel and turbocharger cooling system. For additional information, refer to FUEL AND TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
