Instrument Cluster (IC): Installation

- Position the IC in the instrument panel, connect the electrical connector and install the 2 screws.
- If equipped, connect the electrical connectors, position the IC finish panel and install the 4 screws.
- Install the lower instrument panel steering column cover.
- If equipped with an automatic transmission, place the selector level in PARK (P).
- Install the upper instrument panel center finish panel. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
- If installing a new IC , download the IC configuration information from the scan tool into the new IC . For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION .

NOTE: If a new IC is installed, the IC and the PCM require a parameter reset to allow the IC and the PCM to recognize each other. Failure to carry out the parameter reset to the IC and the PCM may result in a no start condition.

If equipped, the vehicle's Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) keys must be programmed to the new IC

If installing a new IC , carry out the parameter reset and key programming procedure.
