Low Fuel Warning Chime

The low fuel chime sounds when the Distance To Empty (DTE) calculation reaches 80 km (50 miles) or less. The DTE  is calculated internally by the IC  from data received from the PCM and fuel level input. When the IC  receives the data, the fuel gauge indicates low fuel and the IC  sounds the low fuel warning chime.
