Pinpoint Test AQ: The Stop Safely Now Warning Is Inoperative/Always On (Diesel Only)

AQ1 CONFIRM THE DOOR AJAR WARNING MESSAGE OPERATION
- Ignition ON.
- Open the driver door while monitoring the message center displays.
- Is the DRIVER FRONT DOOR AJAR warning displayed?
- Yes: GO to AQ2 .
- No: INSTALL a new IC . REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
AQ2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE PCM KOEO SELF-TEST
- Check for recorded PCM DTCs from the Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) self-tests.
- Are any DTCs recorded?
- Yes: If the STOP SAFELY NOW warning message is always on, REFER to the INTRODUCTION - GASOLINE MODELS .
  If the STOP SAFELY NOW warning message is never on, INSTALL a new IC . REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
- No: GO to AQ3 .
AQ3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IC SELF-TEST
- Check for recorded IC DTCs from the self-test.
- Are any DTCs recorded?
- Yes: For DTC U0100, GO to PINPOINT TEST BD .
  For all other DTCs, REFER to DTC CHARTS .
- No: INSTALL a new IC . REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
