Transmission Support Crossmember: Installation

If required, install a new transmission insulator and retainer stud.
- Tighten to 75 Nm (55 lb-ft).
Position the crossmember to the transmission insulator and retainer and loosely install the transmission insulator-to-crossmember nut.

Install the LH support crossmember-to-frame bolts.
- Tighten to 81 Nm (60 lb-ft).

Install the RH support crossmember-to-frame bolts.
- Tighten to 81 Nm (60 lb-ft).

Install the bracket and loosely install the bolts.
1. Install the crossmember-to-frame bracket.
2. Loosely install the bolts.

Tighten the RH support crossmember-to-frame bolts.
- Tighten to 81 Nm (60 lb-ft).

Tighten the insulator-to-crossmember nuts.
- Tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).

Connect the wire harness to the rear of the crossmember.
