In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Installation

  1. Install the flexplate and 10 new bolts. Tighten the new bolts in 2 stages, in the sequence shown in the illustration.
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
    • Stage 2: Tighten to 94 Nm (69 lb-ft).

  2. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to INSTALLATION .
