Intermediate/Overdrive Cylinder Assembly: Disassembly

Using the Clutch Spring Compressor Plate (307-192) and Clutch Spring Compressor Plates (307-225 and 307-228), compress the overdrive clutch piston return spring.

Remove the overdrive clutch piston return spring retainer. Remove the tools.

Remove the overdrive clutch piston return spring.

NOTE: The overdrive piston seals are bonded to the piston. If the seals are damaged, replace the piston assembly.

Remove the overdrive clutch piston and seal assembly.
Remove the intermediate clutch piston.

Using the O-Ring Seal Remover (100-010), remove the intermediate clutch piston inner seal.

Using the O-Ring Seal Remover (100-010), remove the intermediate clutch piston outer seal.
