Transmission Solenoid Body Assembly
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Ford Pickup, 2003 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2003 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2003 Ford Excursion. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- The powertrain control module (PCM) controls the transmission operation through three on/off solenoids, one pulse width modulated (PWM) shift solenoid, and one variable force solenoid.
Pressure Control (PC) Solenoid Valve, Shift Solenoid A (SSA), Shift Solenoid B (SSB), TCC Solenoid and Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensors are housed in the Transmission Solenoid Body Assembly.
Shift Solenoid A (SSA), Shift Solenoid B (SSB), TCC Solenoid and Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensors are part of the Transmission Solenoid Body and are not replaced individually.
