Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Cooler - Oil-to-Air Fluid Cooler: Removal

Gasoline engine vehicles
- Disconnect the hood release cable clip, remove the power steering cooler bolts and position the power steering cooler aside.
- Remove the bracket bolts and position the A/C condenser forward.
- Remove the fuel cooler bolt and position the fuel cooler aside.
- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the upper charge air cooler (CAC) hose.
- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the lower CAC hose.
- Remove bolts and the CAC.
- Disconnect the OTA transmission fluid cooler hoses.
- Remove the bolts and the OTA transmission fluid cooler.
- Remove the fluid cooler tube from the OTA transmission fluid cooler.
NOTE:
Do not disconnect the A/C lines while moving the A/C condenser toward the front of the vehicle to remove the oil-to-air (OTA) transmission fluid cooler.
