P252F - ENGINE OIL LEVEL TOO HIGH
| Description: | Indicates the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an engine oil level overfull condition. The PCM monitors for cylinder imbalance as an indicator that ingestion of unmetered fluid may be occurring due to an overfilled crankcase. The cylinder imbalance must exceed a threshold for a time period that is greater than a calibrated limit. Unexpected temperature rise across the oxidation catalytic converter (OC) is also used to influence the time period to set this DTC. | |||
