P1725 - Insufficient Engine Speed Increase During Self-Test

P1725 - INSUFFICIENT ENGINE SPEED INCREASE DURING SELF-TEST

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the engine speed during the key ON engine running (KOER) self-test. When the PCM detects engine speed lower than a calibrated speed, the KOER self-test is aborted and the DTC is set.
Possible Causes:   
Diagnostic Aids:   
Application    Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All   If the KOER Self-Test aborts and this DTC is present, repeat the KOER Self-Test.
