P138D - TURBOCHARGER BOOST CONTROL A TEMPERATURE TOO HIGH
| Description: | The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the controller area network (CAN) for messages from the turbocharger actuator to set this DTC. The turbocharger actuator monitors the internal actuator temperature to determine if it is within a calibrated range. If the temperature is outside of the calibrated range a CAN message is sent to the PCM. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids: | The DTC P138D indicates the vehicle was operated in a manner which caused the internal temperature of the turbocharger actuator to exceed a calibrated limit. The actuator will resume normal operation when the internal temperature falls below 135°C (275°F). |
