P123C - COLD START TURBO PROTECTION - FORCED LIMITED POWER
| Description: | This DTC will set when the vehicle is started in temperatures below -26°C (-14.8°F). The vehicle will operate at reduced power to prevent damaging the turbocharger due to lack of lubrication. The vehicle will not operate at full power until the engine has had 30 seconds to warm up. A count down timer is indicated on the instrument cluster to notify the driver when the engine is warmed up and operating at full power. The DTC will clear from the PCM when 40 key cycles have been completed. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids: | This is an informational DTC and is set as the result of Limited Operating Strategy (LOS) or Failure Mode Effects Management (FMEM) operating strategy that maintains limited vehicle function in the event of the PCM, TCM, TBCM, or component failure. | |||
