P117B - EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR CORRELATION - BANK 1
| Description: | The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the 3 exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensors at key ON, engine OFF, following an 8-hour soak to determine if a concern is present. The PCM compares the values of the 3 EGT sensors to verify the sensors correlate to each other. The test fails when the temperature difference at one of the EGT sensors is greater than 25°C (45°F). | |||
| Possible Causes: |

| Diagnostic Aids: | Monitor the EGT PIDs to determine which one of the 3 sensors does not correlate. | |||
| Application | Key On Engine Off | Key On Engine Running | Continuous Memory | |
