| Diagnostic Aids: | The DTC is set and the wrench light is illuminated when the manifold gauge pressure (MGP) exceeds 245 kPa (35.5 psi). When the DTC is set, a safe boost pressure is commanded by the PCM for that drive cycle. If DTC P0238 is also set, it may be a sensor or wiring problem. If only DTC P0234 is set, it may be an exhaust back pressure control or the turbocharger sticking closed. | |||
