P0191 - FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR A CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE
| Description: | The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the fuel rail pressure (FRP) sensor input to determine if the FRP signal is within an expected range. The test fails when the fuel pressure falls below or exceeds a minimum or maximum calibrated value for a calibrated period of time. | |||
| Possible Causes: |
|
|||
| Diagnostic Aids: | Monitor the FRP PID with the key ON, engine running. The correct FRP is between 34.47 MPa (5000 psi) and 48.26 MPa (7000 psi). | |||
| Application | Key On Engine Off | Key On Engine Running | Continuous Memory | |
