On-Demand Self-Test

Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under instrument panel. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Select MODEL YEAR and VEHICLE. Select DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK. Select ECS. Select DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES. Select ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST. Press START and then TRIGGER. ECS module will run on-demand self test and display ON-DEMAND DTCs on tester screen.
