Test J: Passenger Air Bag Resistance High (DTC B1933): Description

Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) module monitors resistance of passenger-side air bag ignitor by measuring resistance between ECS module connector terminals No. 14 (Yellow/Red wire, circuit No. 943) and No. 28 (Red wire, circuit No. 944). If ECS module detects high resistance between these terminals, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1933 in memory and flash Code 33 on AIR BAG warning light.
