Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the flexplate or the flywheel (6375). For additional information, refer to FLEXPLATE  or FLYWHEEL .
    2. CAUTION: Use care to avoid damaging the crankshaft sealing surface.

  2. Use the Seal Remover to remove the crankshaft rear oil seal (6701).
  3. Inspect the crankshaft rear oil seal area.
