Removal & Installation (ZX2)

  1. Ensure ignition switch is in LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove instrument panel upper finish panel insert. Remove nut on back side of hood latch pull handle, and position it aside.
  3. Remove screw from instrument panel steering column cover, and remove cover. Disconnect dimmer switch 6-pin harness connector. Remove 3 screws and instrument panel upper finish panel.
  4. Disconnect power mirror switch 8-pin harness connector. Remove 4 instrument cluster mounting screws. Pull instrument cluster out, and disconnect 3 harness connectors. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
