Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the bumper cover. For additional information, refer to Section BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Section HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS .
Remove the six bolts and position the fenders aside.

Remove the bolts and the crash sensor.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the bolts and the hood latch support bracket.

Remove the two grille opening panel reinforcement pin-type retainers.

Remove the bolts and the grille opening panel reinforcement.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
