Removal and Installation

Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER .
Remove the rivets and the front bumper isolator.

If equipped, remove the rivets and position the block heater electrical adapter aside.

Remove the front bumper bolts.

Drill out the eight spot welds and remove the front bumper.

NOTE: Spot welds retaining the front bumper to the body rails are not required for installation. Install new front bumper bolts.

NOTE: When installing the front bumper isolator, the special tool must be used to install the new rivets.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
