Removal and Installation

Remove the rear license plate housing. For additional information, refer to EXTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Remove the liftgate remote control screws.

Remove the liftgate latch actuator.
1. Remove the screw.
2. Remove the clip.
3. Remove the actuator.

Remove the switch from the liftgate latch remote control.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
