Removal and Installation

Remove the front door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Position the watershield aside.
Remove the window glass run channel bolt.

Remove the bolts and position the center window glass support aside.

Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod.
- Open the locking clip.

Remove the lock rod from the lock cylinder.

Remove the bolts, and position the rear door latch aside.

Remove the cover and disconnect the rear door latch actuator cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connector(s).

Transfer all the components as necessary.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- The special tool must be used to install the new rivet.
