Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Due to the fragile make-up of the front door glass top run, removal is recommended only if the top run is damaged. Unnecessary removal may damage the light-gauge steel carrier insert within the rubber seal of the front door glass top run.

Remove the front door window glass. For additional information, refer to FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS .
Remove the exterior rear view mirror. For additional information, refer to REAR VIEW MIRRORS .
Remove the front door window glass top run rivets.

Remove the front door window glass top run bolts.

CAUTION: Handle the front door glass top run by the center section only. The A- and B-pillar corners must not be damaged.

NOTE: Nylon pins are used to retain the front door window glass top run to the B-pillar.

Remove the front door window glass top run.

NOTE: Use the special tool to install the rivets.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
