Inspection and Verification

- Verify the customer concern by operating the exterior rear view mirrors to duplicate the concern.
- Inspect the components of the exterior rear view mirror systems to determine if any of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the SYMPTOM CHART .
