Removal and Installation

LH and RH

Remove the rear seat cushion.
Fold down the second row seat backrest.
Remove the rear seat bolster bolt.

Position the lower B-pillar aside.

If equipped, remove the cargo cover.
LH Only
Remove the spare tire cover.
Remove the quarter trim panel screw.

LH and RH
Using the special tool, remove the auxiliary seat safety belt D-ring cover and bolt.

Position the quarter trim panel aside.
Using the special tool, remove the second row safety belt anchor bolt.

Remove the retaining clip from the second row safety belt D-ring bolt.

Using the special tool, remove the auxiliary seat safety belt retractor bolt and feed the safety belt through the quarter trim panel.

Remove the quarter trim panel.
If necessary, remove the rear seat bolster.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
